VERY RARE PILGRIM CENTURY BLUE-PAINTED WHITE PINE AND MAPLE SLANT-LID DESK-ON-FRAME, PROBABLY HUDSON RIVER VALLEY, CIRCA 1700

interior fitted with three drawers, wrought-iron butterfly hinges appear to be original, top board of desk replaced.
Height 35 ¼ in. by Width 26 in. by Depth 23 ¼ in.

Condition Report:
Blue paint of a later date, wear commensurate with age, top board which slant lid attached appears to be replaced. Note photograph in Wallace Nutting shows the base rotated 180 degrees. It is properly oriented in the current photography.
