VICTORIAN / ANTIQUE 18K YELLOW GOLD AND DIAMOND SNUFF BOX, oval form with hinged lid having embossed decoration, featuring a portrait of a lady with flowers in her hair, embellished by a total of nine melee diamonds and surrounded by plants and a frame, sides of lid and base with engraved decoration including flowers. Unmarked, tested as 18K gold fineness. Total weight including diamonds: 27.8 grams. Late 19th century. 5/8" HOA, 1 3/4" x 1 3/8" OA.

Condition

Very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks, some denting mainly to underside. Diamonds not professionally graded.
