VICTORIAN BRASS AND WROUGHT-IRON KEROSENE PIANO LAMP, opaque white ball shade with polychrome-enamel floral decoration, wrought-iron clover font vase with brass inner bucket, brass drop-in font raised on an adjustable brass shaft with swirling wrought-iron decoration leading to three cast-metal legs featuring flying bird medallion with surrounding scrolling and foliate motif, wrought-iron having a later black finish. Fitted with a period slip burner, fancy shade ring, and colorless slip chimney. Electrified. Late 19th/early 20th century. 61" H to top of shade, 50 1/2" H to top of shade ring, 15" DOA feet. Shade: 11" H, 4" D fitter.
Excellent condition overall with the font tank having many vertical splits; imperfections due to the electrification process.
