C.900-1400 AD. Size 11 1/4 with low rounded face tapered band 4.9mm, flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel with “spread eagle” figure. The shoulders with six-point stars. A Scandinavian ring of the Viking period was made and used after Christianization as well. See Ancient Rings, T N Pollio, p.125 #3 for a near-identical example. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Good wearable size.
