VINTAGE 14K YELLOW GOLD AND GARNET LADY'S RING

VINTAGE 14K YELLOW GOLD AND GARNET LADY'S RING, set with a large oval-cut garnet stone measuring approximately 12.5 x 10.5 mm, in a multi-prong setting with stepped bezel on a split-shank band. Unmarked and tested as 14K gold fineness. Total weight including stone: 5.9 grams. Together with a vintage sterling silver ring having a large emerald-cut amethyst stone measuring approximately 11.5 x 9.5 x 6.0 mm, bordered by marcasite stones, on a plain band marked "925" and another slightly worn maker's mark or hallmark. Two pieces total. 20th century. Ring sizes 4 1/4 and 7 1/4.
Condition Report: Both in good to very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear, surface scratches, and nicks, bands with slight bending; garnet with a heavy scratch or hairline across the top and abrasions to cut edges; sterling ring lacking one marcasite stone, possible repair at one terminal of band with side of setting. Stones not professionally graded.
