VINTAGE / CONTEMPORARY FIGURAL ANIMAL STERLING SILVER AND OTHER JEWELRY, LOT OF 20 PIECES, comprising 11 marked sterling brooches / pins including two Mexican cat examples, a hedgehog with 14K gold accents, two horses, and a parrot designed by C. Ruopoli of Black, Starr & Gorham of New York City, NY (active 1940-1962); two other marked sterling pieces of a snake ring by Beaucraft, Inc. of Providence, RI (1947-2004), and a pendant of three meerkats; a pendant / brooch made of silver / silver-like and brass metal of a cat head wearing a hat, presented on a marked sterling rope necklace chain; and six pieces of unmarked / other metal, consisting of a pair of earring with cat-shaped drops, a turtle brooch, a pewter badger tie tack / pin, and a pair of horse button-like articles. 13 pieces and necklace chain with sterling fineness marks, some with other marks. Total weight of 13 marked sterling pieces and sterling necklace chain including non-silver components: 4.370 ozt. 20th/21st century. Necklace chain 24 1/4" L.

Condition

Most in very good to excellent overall condition with minor to more moderate wear and other imperfections including surface scratches, nicks, slight bending, and/or slight worn spots; one horse brooch lacking one stone for eye.
