C. 1684 Copper engr., 46,8 x 55,5 cm, hand-coloured (sm. very light brown stain near central fold). Hand-coloured copy of this rare map of America figuring the east coast, mostly derived from the map of Janssonius, with a large inset view of "Nieuw Amsterdam", probably the second printed view of New York at the time of the first publication (1655).
