Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is working properly. The bezel with minor signs of wear. The case is in excellent overall condition with signs of wear at the lug holes. The case back with very minor signs of wear. Otherwise the watch is in excellent overall condition.

Designed by Jörg Hysek the Vacheron Constantin 222 was introduced in 1977 to celebrate the 222nd anniversary of the brand. Offered in various sizes and case materials, the present example of the mid size Reference 46003 is offered in a two-tone configuration with a matching gilt dial. It carries major distinctive features widely celebrated by collectors, such as the serrated bezel and the stamped Maltese cross at the bottom right corner of the case. In 2022, Vacheron Constantin put a major spotlight onto the model again by relaunching the Historiques 222 collection. For its versatility and historic value, both the new issue and the original model will become timeless treasures for any watch collection.
