Originally released in 1996, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas was the revival of the brand's first sports watch, the 222 – launched to celebrate Vacheron Constantin's 222nd anniversary in 1977. Like many other iconic timepieces, the Overseas has evolved over the years and now has three distinct generations under its belt, with the 3rd being the latest. The current generation debuted in 2016 retained some aesthetic design elements from its predecessors while also featuring modern creature comforts and luxuries that Vacheron has pioneered. Most coveted of all, the blue dial contrasts nicely to the case and its legacy will continue in future generations.
