Val Saint Lambert - Charles Graffart & René Delvenne - Candleholder Art deco Candlesticks "Sacré Coeur" (2) - Crystal

[ translate ]

Pair of very beautiful "Sacré Coeur" candlesticks made in the early 1900s by Val Saint Lambert, designed by Charles Graffart and René Delvenne.
The candlesticks are listed in the Val Saint Lambert catalog 1913.

The candlesticks belong to the "Sacré Coeur" group, which represent the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary.
At the bottom of the base they are beautifully finished with angel heads and flower branches.

The candlesticks are made of pressed cast crystal. After casting the candlesticks, they were partially made matt, which made the fine decorations light up even more as they remained bright.
The combination of matte and clear crystal makes them extra beautiful.

The candlesticks are in very nice condition, no cracks or chips.
Considering the age, there may be minor signs of wear, and glass threads, air bubbles and imperfections are completely normal for antique glassware that is more than 100 years old.
Photos are part of the description.
