Val Saint Lambert Hubert Fouarge - Bowl - Walnut Cobalt blue - Crystal

Beautiful classic walnut coupe in doubled cobalt blue crystal. This was made in 1908, by the crystal masters of Val Saint Lambert, after a design by Hubert Fouarge. The piece is in good condition.

Fouarge is associated with the most exclusive pieces of Val Saint Lambert, primarily because he worked there during its absolute peak period. Both the peak period included sales and expansion, but even more so because people reached the top in terms of quality during that period. To this day, no one has matched the quality that Val was able to deliver back then. From 1893 onwards, Fouarge headed the tailleries (grinding shops) . Under his watchful eye and with his designs, Val Saint Lambert was able to reach its peak.
