Valerio Adami (1935) - Melody

Valerio Adami is an Italian painter.

Starting from an expressionist painting influenced by the work of Francis Bacon, and by American Pop Art and in particular by Roy Lichtenstein, developing a sort of fantastic comic story.

The style stands out in the use of a chromatic material, in flat, smooth and continuous layers, within the clear black boundaries of the drawing.

Valerio Adami has exhibited his works all over the world at the Jewish Museum in New York in 1968, at the Museè d'Art Modern de la Ville de Paris in 1970, then at the Mexico City Museum in Jerusalem, at the Center Pompidou in 1985 and Tel Aviv, Buenos Aires. . .

Valerio Adami lives in Paris, and is considered one of the living monuments of Contemporary Art.
