Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All diamonds and the enamel dial are nice and intact. The watch with extremely minor signs of wear and still retains with its original factory sticker to the back of the case. Otherwise it is in excellent overall condition.

Catalogue Note:
Van Cleef & Arpel's poetic complication tells a magical story with every passing minute. This timepiece breaks away from traditional time telling by using two figures to indicate the time - the lady with an umbrella shows the hour, while her partner indicates the minutes. The couple slowly move towards each other until they meet and kiss at noon and midnight, on Le Pont des Amoureux over the River Seine. A gold star in the sky represents the Great Bear constellation and symbolizes luck, shining upon the couple in the dark sky to signify their love.
