Each designed as a poppy, the petals mystery-set with calibré-cut sapphires, the stamen and leaves set with brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by calibré-cut diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay marks for platinum and gold, case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.
Accompanied by a Van Cleef & Arpels letter of authenticity, dated 2 July 2019, stating that the ear clips were created in 1969.

Signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, numbered 20185. Maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels. French assay marks for platinum, French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires very slightly violetish blue of medium to high saturation, well matched in colour, eye-clean to slightly included, very minor abrasions to the facet junctions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, on average F-G colour, VVS-VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and wear, only noticeable upon close inspection, evidence of repair to one clip fitting. In very good condition commensurate with age. Measuring approximately 30 x 20mm. Total gross weight approximately 26 grams. Accompanied by a case stamped VAN CLEEF & ARPELS.
