Vanadinite & Descloizite Mammoth-St Anthony Mine, St. Anthony Deposit, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA "A cluster of somewhat prismatic reddish brown vanadinite crystals in parallel growth with micro descloizite on the back. Bought the specimen from Dick Hauck along with another one that was very similar. After years of looking I have not seen any more like them." - Rock H. Currier Strange to say, but as rare as Tiger Wulfenites and Azurites are, good examples of Vanadinite and Descloizite from there are even less common, in spite of the fact that Arizona is literally crawly with good Vanadinite specimens and localities. Rock's commentary on their relative rarity is spot on. It has a custom acrylic stand. Overall Measurements: 1.8 x 1.0 x 0.4 inches (4.5 x 2.5 x 1.0 cm) Offered at no reserve Provenance: Bought from Dick Hauck collection [RHC #1453, acquired 1970] MinID WQD-NYV [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
