The present work depicts Bell's daughter Angelica Garnett with Amaryllis, Henrietta and the twins Nerissa and Frances, posed in the sitting room of Charleston. Behind Angelica is a painted screen by Grant, and above the group hangs Bell's copy of Vlaminck's Poissy le Pont (Bell had sold the original in the early 50s).
