Vanessa Mitrani - Vase (1) - CHAIN RING - Glass, Steel

A vase by designer Vanessa Mitrani, whose original design dates from 2013. It is emblematic of her work on the constraint of glass, blown into a metal structure, and carried by a mixture of materials.
Here, the transparency, roundness and fragility of glass form a powerful contrast with the thickness, opacity and hardness of metal.
The vase is mouth-blown inside a chrome steel structure, from which it emerges and from which its shape is born. The color is a very lively and striking lime yellow. This color is out of collection.
Vanessa Mitrani is distributed worldwide by prestigious brands such as Roche Bobois, Lane Crawford, Bergdorff Goodman and Cassina.
Some of his creations are part of the permanent collection of the Musée de Arts Décoratif de Paris.
The elements are made in close collaboration with artisans, and are assembled in her workshop in Pantin, near Paris where she designs all her collections.
