Vanessa Mitrani - Vase - GALAXY - Bronze, Glass, Stone (mineral stone)

A vase by designer Vanessa Mitrani, whose original design dates from 2018.
It is emblematic of his work on the constraint of glass, blown into a metal structure, and supported by a mixture of materials. The vase is mouth-blown inside a bronze structure, from which it emerges and from which its shape is born. Custom-turned tiger's eye spheres were then fixed in place, completing this hypnotic piece of jewelry.
Here, the roundness and fragility of glass form a poetic contrast with the opacity and constraint of metal. Its color responds tone-on-tone to that of the stones.

Vanessa Mitrani is distributed worldwide by prestigious brands such as Roche Bobois, Lane Crawford, Bergdorff Goodman and Cassina.
Some of his creations are part of the permanent collection of the Musée de Arts Décoratif de Paris.
The elements are made in close collaboration with artisans, and are assembled in her workshop in Pantin, near Paris where she designs all her collections.
