About this Item: Vanity Fair Office, London, 1889. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. yearly ed. All 52 full page color caricature type lithographs and 52 description pages of prominent gentlemen are present including Circus showman Phineas Taylor Barnum and The Right Hon. Lord Randolf Churchill to name a few. Also includes men in the military with swords and a cricket uniformed man and a horseman with a crop. Various signatures on the plates include Spy, Hay, Lib, Ajm and Ape. Gilt decorated green cloth, all page edges are gilt. Some minor wear/small chip to spine tail and minor rubbing areas though overall bright and fresh. Most pages are loose due to glue on inner mull of the text block has dried up and deteriated away. Many of the blank tissue guards are not present. A scarce volume ; Folio 15 1/2" x 11"; over 104 pps. pages.
