An Arita porcelain vase by Maeda Taisho (b. 1937) . The item is stamped by the artist. A stunning piece by the renowned Arita porcelain artist, who is also an advisor for Arita Ceramic Art Association. The vase is in different shades of purple, and designed with lines that make the body look like a flower bud. The glaze on top is a mixture of light blue, green and dark green, and designed like a drape. The vase is also glazed on top of the neck. The mixture of colors and its unity as a whole are beyond words.
