Vase - Art Nouveau enameled with engraved decoration of a delightful autumnal lake landscape - Signed - Blown glass

[ translate ]

Circa 1925. Pantin crystal factory. France

Magnificent old blown glass vase with widened base, opacified bottom with magnificent shades of twilight orange-yellow colors in mass-tinted gradient, with enameled and acid-etched rotating painted decoration, representing a delightful lake landscape at dusk very delicately hand painted with in perspective a large beautiful tree with a flock of birds flying over a lake with wooded hills in the distance.

Remarkable work of the execution of the enamelling with subtle, pretty nuances of autumnal colors.

Beautiful height of 245mm with a nice volume

Pretty proof signed Michel with black enamel in the decoration. The execution and motifs of the lake decorations with this acid engraving technique are very close to the VEZ productions of the Cristallerie de Pantin and the LEGRAS & Cie crystal factory in Saint-Denis.

This series and the shape of the vase are perfectly referenced and illustrated in the famous rare repertoire of the great "Dictionary of Master Glassmakers" containing all the most beautiful vases from the Art Nouveau period to the Art Deco period. See latest photos

In very good condition for its great age, with very fresh and thick enamelling and very bright colors. Just note some very slight small wear and tear from common use due to the passage of time which does not detract from the charm of this magnificent vase from the beginning of the 20th century.

Very secure professional shipping guaranteed with tailor-made packaging and protection, tracking and insurance
