Vase - Bronze - Dragon - Scholar's Studio Object - China - Kangxi (1662-1722)
Early Qing Dynasty bronze dragon vase. Probably Kangxi period (1661-1722) . The three toed dragon is generally associated symbolically with the Prince and heir to the throne. Nice old patina. Slight, almost indiscernable, depression into side of vase as seen in photo. Fairly unusual form and type and falls nicely into the Scholar's Studio arena.
