Stunning and very good quality vase showing a scene from The ode of Red Cliff'. Nice Relief addidtion of two water dragons at the neck. The text consists of two lines taken from Song Poet Suxi's essay 'The ode of Red Cliff' I like to ride a boat and toast a drink with you on the river, keep company with the fishes and shrimps, befriended with the deer. . . Condition firing flaw to rim and 1 small bumspot. 2 chsip to base rim. Size 302mm high and widest diameter 105mm approx. Period 19th century Qing (1661 - 1912)
