Born on July 26, 1987 in Zelenograd. 2010 graduated from the Industrial Design Department of the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology. Member of the Union of Soviet Artists, organized by Avdey Ter-Oganyan. Works in the field of genre oil painting and graphics (acrylic, gouache), nude. He is engaged in the history of design and architecture of Moscow in the 1930-1950s. Co-curator of several exhibition projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Vasya Horst is a participant in a large group project (and a series of exhibitions) in the format of an artist's book - The City as an Artist's Subjectivity (2020).

Since 2010 he has been living and working in St. Petersburg.
