For sale decorative plate dating back to the second half of the 19th century in a style typical of the grand tour period in which it was customary to decorate plates, or even other objects, to reproduce ancient monuments present in Italy and beyond, in this case there is a beautiful view of the Trajan's Forum in Rome completely hand painted, on the back there is an inscription that reads "Trajan's Forum", then there are small side reserves with other small landscapes and roses.

I believe that the dish was most likely made in northern Italy.

The plate is in fair storage conditions, it has some scratches on the enamel and a small imperfection (which I believe is a small production defect as it does not appear to be a chip) .
