Provenance: private collection in Austria since 1950, second generation. The certificate is from R. Kotalla, however, according to Mr. Kotalla, he was unable to conduct a metal analysis in his laboratory, and had it carried out by the Chr . Goedicke Museum in Berlin. An excellent commemorative head of an oba, the metal analysis proves it was created around 1850, it was cast using the lost form technique / cire perdue, visible sacrificial traces from centuries of old ritualistic use, wonderful patina.
