[ translate ]

Outstanding award document for Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse (War merit cross 2. class) issued to Zugwachtmeister of the Schutzpolizei, that was obviously under control of the SS. This award was issued in 1945, during the last months of the III Reich before it collapsed. The person who signs the document is Hans Flade, a very important Nazi that was close collaborator of the infamous chief of the Ordungspolizei Kurt Daluege, totally implicated in mass execution of Jews and in the Holocaust. Hans Flade was during 1945 and signature of this document, SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Polizei, a high ranked in the Nazi hierarchy within the Police and SS apparatus.Hans Flade was Chief des Kommandoamtes im Hauptamt Ordnungspolizei. very close to Kurt Daluege, with same duty under Wünnenberg's command also.Document has also a gorgeous ink stamp of the SS-Reichsführer und Chef der Deutschen Polizei - Chef der Ordungspolizei. Very clear and perfectly readable. This great document was issued in Berlin, for sure in Prinzalbertstrasse, where SS, Police and Gestapo headquarters were located.
