Very rare infantry officer’s sword, Prussia, gift Item

On offer: Infantry officer’s sword, Prussia Huge, very beautifully decorated vessel, rare. Brown bakelite handle without winding. Head screw with monogram. Wide real damask steel blade of 3. 2 cm. Damascus steel. Etched, blued and gilded, with patriotic ornamental elements and inscription: “von Merkatz seinem lieben Schwertfeger”Scabbard put together, but fitting. Blade contemporarily shortened, reason unknown. Manufacturer WK&CThe normal IOD next to it is only for comparison and not for sale. Von Merkatz, born in 1861 in Torgau, was last general of the infantry and commander of the 240. ID in 1916. Captain Schwertfeger was an instructor at the infantry war school in Hannover. All of my items are originals!
