VERY RARE SITTING GANESHA.
Origin: Khmer.
Dynasty: Baphuon period (1010-1080).
Date: 11th c.
Technique: Sandstone.
Description: Sitting with his right knee raised in elegant royal raja lalitasana posture. In the open
left hand he offers sweets, with the right hand he used to hold an object. He wears a
crown and around his voluminous belly a narrow apron.
Measurement: Height 40cm, width 26cm, depth 23cm.
