During the 2002 exhibit The Marvelous World of Bujamey, historian Eusebio Leal Spengler dedicated these words to the artist : " A genuine surrealism, a poetic inspiration guide the artist's brush as the wind ushers the sails of a ship. So surprisingly rare is the subject matter and so revealing of his personality the finished canvas, that it is appropriate to think that a laurel wreath, well deserved, will adorn the painters brow. It is an exceptional privilege for he who succeeds in breaking , in an instant , the space mediating between silence and the word , the mandate of the soul and the blind hand. "

Provenance: Cernuda Art, Miami, subsequently acquired by the present owner and retained in a private collection.
