His artistic career has been marked by a self-taught character, developing the bulk of his work between painting, drawing and sculpture. His taste for art led him to channel his professional career from a very young age, since at just eighteen years old, Mira was able to hold her first sculpture exhibition in her hometown, Zaragoza. As a coincidence, this exhibition was the first one which was held open air. During the seventies, the young Victor travelled through the peninsula different places such as Madrid, Barcelona or Pamplona and then went on to know countries such as Germany or the United States invited by the Meadows Museum in Dallas. His passion for art came from the hand of a taste for literature, so in 1975 he published El libro de las dos hojas, and in 1978 Estética kebrada aragonesa. In addition to the publications he began to work on his book Tierra in 1979, and in the early eighties he prepared his book of engravings Cien Imágenes de Africa, which was published years later, in 1996 specifically. In 1985 the magazine Extrema Presión invited him to participate in an object edition, thus being able to publish his book of poems Madre Zaragoza. His career shows a frenetic activity, the exhibitions take place in different parts of the peninsular, European and even American geography, his publications do not cease and his works diversify, posters, posters, poems, painting, sculpture and graphic work. In the nineties it is remarkable the publication of three of his books of engravings, Images for lovers, Bachkantaten and Stylites, artistic series that began in 1985. The nineties were equally fruitful, publications followed by both books and posters in international magazines, as happened with A mere crisis is not enough in 1993 or The two most Clever sons of Salvador Dalí in 1998. Of this decade it is worth mentioning the invitation of the artist Antonio Saura to Mira to participate in the commemorative exhibition of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Goya, in Zaragoza, in 1996. He will conclude this decade with his first photographic exhibition in New York. With the new century, Mira continues working in his line, covering different techniques, holding exhibitions, publishing his works in any of its formats and reaping successes that lead him to be awarded in 2003 as Best Spanish Artist alive at the ARCO Fair. His indisputable contribution to the world of art and culture was also recognized when the artist, who lived between Barcelona and the Bavarian town of Breitbrunn, died tragically after throwing himself on the train. On Tuesday, November 18, 2003, after a fire broke out in the kitchen of his apartment, caused by a short circuit, the artist decided to take his own life in the phase, described by many, as his sweetest professional stage. According to his gallerist Miguel Marcos, the artist was in a good creative phase and was preparing to prepare the next edition of ARCO. He also pointed out that "he lived as in his workshop, as a monk, for art. " The material losses were considerable, among them mentioning the disappearance of part of his work that according to his gallerist in Munich "burned much of his work". The news of his death shocked the art world and especially his homeland. Solo exhibitions 2011 Gràfica i Originals, 1983-1990. Galería Eude, Barcelona.
