Victorian 18ct gold onyx & enamel mourning ring

A Victorian 18ct gold onyx intaglio and black enamel 'In Memory Of' mourning ring, with glazed reverse.

Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1862.
Ring size O. 6.8gms.

Condition Report:
Surface scratches and minor marks. General slight discolouration.
Reverse with glazed panel contains a woven lock of hair, minor water damage.
Monogram reads CW or WC. Agate shows minor frits/nibbles to edge, general dirt.
Enamel shows general abrasion, few deeper chips to the back panels.
Length of ring head 1.3cms.
