Victorian Burl Tantalus- ABCG Crystal Decanters
Possibly Dorflinger (American, mid-19th to early 20th century), burl wood, silver plate and cut crystal, dating to the late-Victorian or early-Edwardian period. The burl tantalus has silver plated fittings and a set of 3 American Brilliant Cut Glass lead crystal decanters. The outer matching decanters are original to the set, while the center decanter is a period replacement. Silver plate rails unlock with a key, which is included.
Dimensions: 13 3/4 inches tall X 16 1/8 inches wide X 6 1/8 inches deep; 34.9 cm tall X 41 cm wide X 15.6 cm deep. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Silver plate has a patina and the burl wood has scattered scratches. The stoppers on both cut glass decanters have large chips and the bottle has scattered small chips and fleabites.
