Condition Notes: Victorian silver adornments with applied gold or stamped motifs that provide a wealth of naturalistic imagery: roses, a vase abundant with flowers, grapes and vines, and perhaps an Asian-inspired motif of a crane amongst bamboo reeds. The crane brooch shows English hallmarks on reverse and an oval enclosed space for hairwork or a photo, minor dents to the silver. The grapes and vine brooch also displays an opening on reverse, the frame is missing the crystal covering. The most creative piece in the grouping is a silver dragonfly with iridescent blue wings of the Morpho butterfly from South America. Blue iridescence in good condition, minor fading at the edges. Tarnish to all silver items.
