Victorian Cased Satin Glass Mother of Pearl Diamond Quilted Pitcher

Mont Washington Glass Co. Victorian Style art glass pitcher featuring a bulbous, lobed melon-form body and a cylindrical neck with a pinched pouring spout. The vessel is constructed of cased glass with a seafoam green to pale mint gradient exterior over a white interior lining. The body is decorated with a Mother of Pearl Diamond Quilted air-trap pattern. It features an applied, ribbed, translucent frosted glass handle that is wrapped at the neck and crimped at the lower terminal. The exterior surface is acid-etched to a matte satin finish.
