This rare vintage Victorian bronze & enamel frame is elegantly designed & dates from the late 19th century. Dominating the frames composition is a stunning champleve' motif of stylized scrolls & fancy florals in vivid cranberry forest green & lily white enamel colors. An oval center is wonderfully positioned within the frames open work design. A sturdy easel-back supports the frame. There is a stamped vague logo is visible on the bottom back of the frame beneath the easel. I believe it is stamped with the letter "J" within a shield. Additionally there appears to be some vague numbers below the logo.5 1/4" tall X 3 5/8" wide X 2 3/8" deep
