Condition Notes: This swooping swallow is just darling! The swallow chooses one mate for life, and for this reason it makes frequent appearance in Victorian jewelry as a symbol of love and loyalty. Marked 18 GS on reverse. Completed by a swivel-hinge pinstem and C catch, as well as two hooks on reverse for use as a pendant. This little birdie has a surprise, the back is engraved to look like feathers!
