Condition Notes: A sweet little black enameled shamrock brooch, to bring good luck for better days ahead. A brooch such as this was worn in a time of mourning during the Victorian period. Enamel in good condition, having a matte finish, no large chips are seen. Completed by pinstem and catch, also having a hook on reverse for the addition of a gem drop. Marked for Krementz & Co. of Newark, New Jersey, a once bustling hub of jewelry manufacturing in the Victorian era.
