Victorian Mahogany and Brass Stationery and Wall Mounted Mail Box. The central rectangular letter box with brass LETTERS placard to top of angled, hinged lid, with glazed door under lock, and brass pull-out surface for writing notes. The back, with leather straps forming diamond patterns punctuated by decorative metal nail heads, to hold notes. None. England. Circa 1915. {Approximate dimensions: 18 high x 18 1/2 wide x 8 3/4 inches diameter.}. Condition: Good condition and with nice patina. One leather strap of the diamond-form design to backing broken in two. Almost certainly, the backing with straps is a later addition.
