Víctorian Parían Sculpture Circa 1875
A good & large figure of a child cradling her pet dog. A lettered ribbon on the base titled “GO TO SLEEP”, sets the scenario of this lovely tender moment of a young girl cradling her dog and willing him to sleep. A beautiful figure which would suit a variety of rooms, in perfect condition having survived 150 years without damage, stains or abrasions due to over cleaning.
A beautiful piece placedon a pedestal to show the scale. The pedestal can be acquired separately if so desired..
