Victorian Pink Hand Painted Satin Glass Hanging 'Moonlight' Lantern Lamp

An exceptional late 19th-century Victorian Art Nouveau hanging "moonlight" lantern, featuring a vibrant pink opaline glass body with a frosted satin finish and an elegant baluster form. The exterior boasts dramatic, molded high-relief whiplash panels framing beautifully hand-painted sunflower blossoms with raised enamel detailing, multi-colored blue flourishes, and a lower border of gilded, embossed hearts and acanthus leaves. Structurally sound with no visible chips or cracks to the glass, the fixture retains its original ornate cast-brass collar, aged patina, multi-link suspension chains, and leaf-form base finial. This striking, un-electrified turn-of-the-century piece originally housed an oil font or candle to emit a soft, atmospheric glow. Lantern measures from the ceiling cap 30 inches long, the glass height is approx 11 inches, and approx 10 inches wide. Overall good condition, no chips or cracks. Please see photos.
