Victorian Vanity box - Rosewood - Second half 19th century

Rosewood veneered travel box or so-called 'vanity box' with inlay of mother-of-pearl and extensive interior. Four metal attributes have bone grips. Including the key and a working lock. The cover in the lid can be opened by means of a pressure mechanism, as well as the tray at the bottom for jewellery and a pocket watch. In good condition. Two pieces of veneer were later deployed on the sides. The crystal trays are slightly different and have flakes here and there. Furthermore, there are minor damaged spots visible throughout the box.
