A late Victorian 15ct gold old-cut diamond and split pearl scrolling pendant.

Length 4.4cms. 3.4gms.

Condition Report:
General light marks, wear and discolouration to metal.

The pendant has been later converted from a different item, possibly once a brooch.

The suspension hoop is modern, electronically tests as 18ct gold.

Main body of the pendant tests as 15ct gold.
Diamond bright.
Estimated diamond weight under 0.10ct.
Size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Split pearls have typical surface blemishes and light nacre damage.

Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
