Victorian gold emerald earrings

A pair of late Victorian gold stylised floral earrings, with emerald highlight.

Length 3.5cms. 3gms.

Condition Report:
Significant general discolouration. Minimal wear to the gilt finish.
One earring shows a fault to the surmount and the central panel is slightly off-centre, pushed back into the mount which shows to the reverse.
Electronically tests as approximately 20ct gold, presumed interference from gilt finish.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.

Emeralds appear a light medium slightly bluish green.
