Victorian moonstone & gem crowned heart brooch
A late Victorian silver and gold, moonstone, rose-cut diamond and sapphire crowned heart brooch.
Length 4.3cms. 4.8gms.
Condition Report:
Surface scratches and minor marks.
Heart is later added to the knife-edge bar.
Later safety chain and brooch fittings, base metal pin.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Diamonds with few abrasions and minor nicks.
Sapphires appear well matched with a deep medium blue.
Moonstone shows fair adularescence.
Split pearl shows cement/glue to surround.
Length of crowned heart 1.9cms.
