The painting is a great example of an Austrian school depicting the "Deposition of Dead Christ. " Suggestive craquelure in line with the date of the canvas. Signed and dated. The painting has been fully restored. Wood’s lamp examination did not show any major restoration work. From a private collection, with certification in accordance with art. 64 D.
