Tømmerup and Skamstrup are two villages located in Holbæk Municipality, Zealand. Viggo Pedersen lived and worked for a period in Skamstrup, where his wife, Elisabeth Bella Marie Borup, who was the daughter of the parish priest in Skamstrup, came from. He has made several paintings from the area around Skamstrup in the late 1880s and 1890s.
