Viking Bronze Museum quality Authentic Duck Foot Amulet - 95×40×0 mm

This is a beautiful bronze Rus Viking amulet. It is made by people in the Permian Finno-Ugric culture. This museum quality example has a base made out of 3 spirals with attached 4 chains ending in a duck foot. These duck foot amulets are considered to be worn by the pagan sourcerers of the Funno-Ugric. They are dated 10th to 11th century. This artifact measures 95 mm. The patina on this amulet is truly beautiful and you can actually wear this remarquable piece of jewelry. Provenance: BVA Collection, Belgium. Acquired in the 1990s from an East European collection.
