[ translate ]

Northern Europe / Central Asia, Finno-Ugric culture, ca. 5th to 11th century CE.
A fine white bronze pendant composed of seven cast pieces with three bells, three bell loops, and a semicircular top ornament decorated with dozens of applied segments which radiate outward from a trio of small bulbs.
Pendants like this example were perhaps worn as a pendant or sewn onto clothing to create a bright, glinting effect as well as a jangling nose when jostled.

It has an intact suspension loop. A modern necklace cord included.
