Viking Iron Spear Head
**First Time At Auction**
Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 9th to 11th century CE. An iron spear tip with nice signs of age and patina. The needle-like blade tapers to a pointed tip, and a prominent midrib runs the length of the blade on both sides. A narrow tang extends from the opposite end for hafting the spear head on a pole. Size: 11.75" L x 0.675" W (29.8 cm x 1.7 cm)
